Meet Mila Ferramosca...

Mila, an award-winning concert violinist based in London, boasts over a decade of international solo, chamber and orchestral performances, showcasing her exceptional talent and versatility across various musical genres. Her impressive career has seen her grace renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, the House of Lords, Cadogan Hall, and the Royal Festival Hall, underscoring her status as an award-winning artist who consistently captivates audiences worldwide.

Biography

Mila Ferramosca is a well-established London-based violinist, who has won many competitions and holds a plethora of awards. She recently graduated her Masters’ in Violin Performance from the Royal College of Music, where she also studied her BMus Hons as a scholar supported by the Ian Evans Lombe Award, under the tutelage of internationally-renowned pedagogues Gabrielle Lester, Leonid Kerbel, Radu Blidar and Mark Messenger. Upon finishing her studies, she is currently a violinist and member of Southbank Sinfonia, with whom she is undertaking a fellowship, their most recent performance being a part of the London Handel Festival in St. George’s, Hanover Square, with members of the London Handel Players.
 
During her time at the Royal College, she performed in various public masterclasses, highlights including with Tasmin Little in Bishop Strings, and Alina Ibragimova in the Britten Theatre, RCM. Orchestrally, she performed under the baton of the acclaimed Vladimir Ashkenazy, Sir Mark Elder, John Wilson and Ed Gardner, to name but a few. She performed twice with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe at the RCM.
